  • 3. Take a supplement: If you don’t get enough vitamin D from sun exposure and diet alone, you may need to take a supplement. Talk to your doctor about whether or not this is right for you.
  • 4. Get your vitamin D levels checked: If you’re concerned about your vitamin D levels, ask your doctor to check them for you.
